Help choosing a router for upgraded internet
Ubiquiti Unifi Dream Router 7. Easy setup, lots of expansion capabilities. Just a warning, they make everything easy to do and you’ll end up spending a lot of money upgrading your network because it’s so easy. I’m at 1 UDR7 router, 3 Flex 2.5 Gb switches, and now looking at their camera setup and tr

Opinions Regarding Express 7
I recently acquired a Dream Router 7 and an Express 7 after trying two different Asus routers (both were extremely unreliable and both were returned). So far, my experience has been extremely positive. It feels like Ubiquiti is the "Apple of networking" in terms of user experience (clean, logical).

Any way to save the configuration of the BWG320-505?
Unfortunately there is note a way. Which is a pain even for us techs when we swap out a customers gateway it only puts the WiFi info back. Unless there is something that I don’t know there is no way to do what you’re asking. How ever just something to consider is getting Ubiquiti gateways and set th

Looking for new Network Router
Could always look into a Ubiquiti setup. As a newbie to the home networking world, I got a UniFi Express 7 and love it for my apartment. Did take a couple hours to dial in the settings tho. Dream Router 7 or Cloud Gateway paired with other APs might be more suited to your use, since they have more p

Best HKSV Camera at the Moment?
They have a calculator you can use, the dream router 7 is very limited. I recommend a cloud gateway max. Get it with NO storage. Buy the storage tray from Ubiquiti. Buy your own storage on Amazon. For Scrypted you’ll need a raspberry pi or other computer. Their website has guides on how to install i

Best WiFi Mesh UK
We have a Deco BE63 system that is fine, but Decos are so hit and miss. I see many people saying that they have great experiences, some say that it's terrible. My dad has issues specifically with his work laptop, as do some of our ring security cameras, everything else is fine. So even on the same s

FIOS Internet/TV and EERO 6 Configuration
I have a similar set up with a CR1000A and an Ubiquity Dream Router 7 (plus 1 UAP7) and I just leave both networks up an running. The only things connected to the CR1000A are the STBs (2 wireless, 1 w/MOCA adapter), the VMS, a MiniPC (more on this later) and the Dream Router (UDR7). Everything else

T-mobile home internet issues with HomeKit
My HomeKit is working fine but I am only using t-mobile as a source for internet. Go to store.ui.com and buy a UniFi Express 7 or Dream Router 7 … Ubiquiti’s software called UniFi is easy to setup and you can make a separate IoT network (best practices) for HomeKit or even HomeAssistant. You can’t t

Having mesh wifi forced upon me at my apartment
Not to product promote… Ubiquiti just released a dream router 7 with 5G built in. It may totally be overkill, but if you want a robust home network running on cell service with wireless backup. It’s probably your best bet. I think you can set it to use WiFi and cell as two separate WANs and it’ll ch

Best HKSV Camera at the Moment?
The Dream Router 7 is more so a plug and play single system. Very much ment for small residential deployments. It function as an access point, but also has the capability to operate as the controller for any and all UniFi apps including access and talk, which you will probably never use or consider
