NotebookCheck: "iPhone 17 Air OLED supplier [BOE] to be banned in the US for over 14 years for stealing Samsung trade secrets"

Some of Valve's Steam Deck OLED displays are BOE, so that's unfortunate for them.

I installed the new update to my steam Deck, now it’s been stuck like this for two days. I need help.

Like the other person said OLEDs burn in a lot easier than an LCD, you gotta be careful. They could end up with the steam logo permanently there while they're trying to use the deck, would really suck.

ASUS ROG Xbox Ally with Ryzen Z2A drops to $499

This is such a weird device because it’s basically steam deck price for steam deck performance with a higher resolution screen but that’s not really an advantage because then you just don’t run games at native resolution because that chip is more going to like 720 than 1080. You get VRR but you lose

FOMO with Oled

I have had an OLED Steam Deck, Xbox Ally X and currently an OXP Apex. The OLED was gorgeous but nothing beats performance ESPECIALLY when these IPS displays are pretty damn good. After a while you forget about the display you're using and are just thankful to be running at good settings with good fr

Is Z2 Go really bad?

Everything is really about the price imo. If the price is close to $499, I would say it's a decent option imo. It's slightly more powerful than Steam deck oled, it has a bigger battery and screen. So for the same price, I would buy Legion go S Z2go

Xbox Ally (White) VS. Xbox Ally X

Xbox Ally has the exact same processor as Steam Deck OLED. You’ll get the same performance on a smaller but higher resolution LCD display. There’s barely an advantage of Steam Deck. I’d recommend returning the Xbox Ally and saving up for the X.

You can't trust anyone's opinion nowadays

This sub has overhyped the steam deck to oblivion. I bought an oled in 2024 after reading this sub (they said Cyberpunk and rdr2 are great). I would categorize it as barely playable to be honest as there are sections in both games where frame rate drops below 30. It’s good for indie games though (bu

is it worth to buy steamdeck OLED when I already have asus xbox ally x with bazzite?

I would disagree. I love an OLED screen but the Steam Deck is only 800p and 90hz with no VRR.

Why buy an Odin over a Steam Deck?

Ive got a regular Steam deck. I wanted the OLED one but could never find it in stock and it's pretty expensive for not much of a lift in anything, not worth the upgrade for me. The Odin 3 had a great price to performance value as well as a much smaller size. If the steam deck were the size of the Od
