This is positive to hear. I returned my Viwoods AI Paper Mini because it just wasn't good for my left handed hook writing style. I'd love to get one of these to try and maybe even review. I'm waiting on this hoping that the Carta 1300 will also provide that closer pen to screen feel.

Thanks for the tip. But the feature of an offline dictionary came bundled with the device in its native reader in Kindle. The simplicity of it was just fantastic - you just press on a word and it pops up the definition of the word in a modal window, without leaving the reading app. Very good to main

Ho disappointing that Viwoods used this overcooked screen texture for a device purely made for reading. Exactly the reason I returned my AiPaper Mini (8.2") after only three days.
