I agree with this in principle. That said, people complained when there were no significant updates to the controller between XB1 & XB Series, despite the fact that the Xbox controller has kinda been the platonic ideal in game controllers for over a decade.

If you look up 'pro xbox wireless controllers' there are a good bunch. Just make sure they say tmr or hall effect sticks since they won't get stick drift which is VERY annoying once a normal controller gets it.

Other than the tight placement between the action buttons and the right stick, it is a really well built piece of tech. It feels in the hand just a solid as an XB controller.
