Been using XREAL One Pro for months. I'm returning the Beast.

Did you update the firmware? They added a calibration mode to reduce the drift (place on table for 10 seconds before using). Once calibrated, often the screen stays put for several minutes, and then the drift still happens, but much slower than it used to before the update. If you've already got a O

Why is Beast so hyped?

It has 3dof built into it (meaning no software required every device works and is just plug and play compared to other viture glasses which require spacewalker to do 3dof) and also provides a much larger FOV than other xr glasses other than the XReal one pro. Once or if it ever works properly it's c

Virtue Beast for productivity

I use my glasses for productivity. Here are the big things to consider. Resolution on all models is 1080p (1200p is just taller). This may not be good enough for you. Birdbath vs prism lenses. I think birdbath is clearer but prism is clear for some people. Software support. There are a few models, X

AR glasses, what’s been your experience?

Had the xreal air 2 and just upgraded to the xreal one pro to try out the new 2d- 3d conversion they put out. My experiences so far. Xreal air 2 was fine just a virtual screen that sat directly in front of your face. Glasses were not shaded enough though so lots of light bleed through unless you cli

Thoughts on the Beast?

I ordered the Ultras and realized it's only one size. So I ordered the Beast as well. I absolutely love my pros, and I have had them since launch, but because of my IDP, I couldn't fully enjoy them. So I picked up the XReal One Pros with the 3dof, and it is a very nice pair of glasses. The image is

Best XR Glasses for Steam Deck & Android (Nothing Phone 3a)

I have both the Xreal One Pro and also the older Xreal Air 2 Pro. Quite simply I can not play my steam deck without the glasses (a perk of getting older and needing readers…) While the Air 2 Pros work, the native 3dof is amazing with the One series. The Xreal 1 S would be a solid choice. They also r

I got influenced #FeedTheBeast

Assumimg your asking about the AR Glasses and not the accessories... I think for productivity I prefer to use the Xreal One Pro since it has virtual 16:19 aspect ratio (like 2x 1920×1080 monitors stacked vertically) it also has the virtual 32:9 aspect ratio (like two 1920×1080 stack horizontally). Viture Beast vs. XReal One Pro For Gaming?

I own both and I use both for different reasons. I use the Viture Beast for games and movies and Xreal One pro for productivity. Each has its strengths and it all depends what is most important to you. If you want rock solid anchor stability, built in real 3D and color accuracy, better edge to edge

How transparent is The Beast?

For me, it's the Xreal One Pro. I really like the punch and brightness of the beast, but there were a few things that I couldn't get over. For perspective, my use case is primarily handheld gaming. - Dimming on the Xreals is just way better. The brightness being lower doesn't matter as much when the

Space walker app disabled

I agree. So far everything other than display is better on Xreal one Pro (such as controls, interface, etc). Without a full feature that they advertised, it is really hard to make a comparison as it won’t even come close to Xreal (unless you’re sitting and large display is only thing you care about)
