Anyone practice with studio monitors?
I have a pair of Yamaha HS7 studio monitors, and they're great. Studio monitors, much like 2 or 3 way PA speakers are full range speakers so you can pretty much play any instrument in your toolbox through them. I have a Musicman Stingray 4 string, and it sounds especially great through my studio mon

Absolutely love my WFH corner!
That's a very subjective choice, I'm happy with my Yamaha HS7 (plus a Behringer EX4000 II for some additional punch).

Studio Summary from a hobbiest
Hi, the Yamahas are very nice, but I would agree that the HS5's lack some bass. I bought that model mostly because of a) budget and b) small size of the room. On the most part I am happy with them. Someone else responded to provide some thoughts on using bigger ones and I have subsequently done some

Good speakers to get?
Legit just got the same board nice starter I recently went to a music store to find some quality speakers myself and currently saving up for some Yamaha HS7 the sound quality was outstanding you could feel the bass without even a subwoofer it's a bit pricier than the HS5 vut the difference is very n

Studio Speakers
Yamaha HS-series are pretty amazing to be honest. Got HS8 at first, but downgraded to HS7 because my studio was way too small for the bass of 8.

Monitor Help..
If there’s a Guitar Center near by, most of them have a monitor display wall where you can plug your phone in and check out how the speakers sound on music you’re familiar with. If that’s not an option; get a par of Yamaha HS8’s and call it a day until you move into a bigger/more professional room.

Yamaha HS3 vs HS5 vs alternatives for desk use, mainly guitar related, for someone who's not massive fan of heavy bass
I’m a guitarist and i have a pair of Yamaha HS7, they have a balanced midrange and not bass heavy, i think they are what you’re looking for.

Looking for a pair of decent audio speakers to edit sound
I'd go with HS7 or HS8. The 5s are so small you can't hear problems in the bottom end. We have multiple HS5s and HS8s at my workplace. Between 7 and 8, look at their physical dimensions for which would suit your space better, and either audition both at a brick and mortar store, or start doing some

What is the best sounding game?
I have Yamaha hs7 and when maxed out i can feel the engine inside of me. It is too good. I legit had my neighbour kid come and knock on the door to listen to a formula 2 car i had been using. Now, i checked LMU and that porsche 911 is something else!

Just released this tune, had a problem with sub bass (classic sine wave) at 1:43, feels like its not hearable on speakers as I want to, tried to saturate it but its still not there. What would help?
Yamaha HS7's here and it sounds fine. Could certainly be bettered, but that's just taste, as has already been mentioned below. Upgrade your speakers for better lower range response.
