Is it worth it to upgrade from the pro controller 1 to the pro controller 2 with my switch 2?

Which is especially sad since third party controllers like the 8Bitdo Pro 3 can do this. I am sure this is something that Nintendo deliberately didn't implement / didn't update on the OG pro controller.

Sad day yesterday

Oh I’m sorry! I don’t have any handheld recs? But I would suggest if you ever get something like a deck again to grab an 8bitdo pro3 controller, most if not all steam games work perfect with it and steam auto maps the buttons, plus it’s incredibly light so if you have a place to prop your deck you c

Which Controller Are You Using?

8BitDo Pro 3. Fantastic controller, but the face buttons are very clacky and loud which took a bit of getting used to.

Controller recommendations for a total newbie?

good overall controller would be the 8bitdo Pro3 or a Retro-Bit Saturn Pro. If you like dedicated ones i would have one 6-button like the excellent 8bitdo M30 and for SNES style the 8bitdo SN30.

Nintendo Controller

8BitDo pro 3 is my favorite controller. To me it’s a better all around controller and far more conducive to games that utilize the D-Pad, like platformers.

What Controller should I buy to Play FH6

8bitdo Pro 3 here (playstation kid) Can be had at ridiculous prices, i paid like 35 bucks with a charging dock and wireless reciever. Hall effect triggers with vibration settings and magnetic analogue sticks. So smooth.

Negative Steam Controller Review

Good take and I agree. The first controllers I bought were agonizing. I had been using MnK for almost 30 years and my history with controllers was basically Nintendo until the the GameCube. Sure, I played PS3 and PS4 here and there and even owned both. But nothing ever would get me to like controlle

Need controller recommendation for SF6 (DI/Parry input issues)

I personally really like the 8bitdo Pro 3 controller. It doesn't have 6 face buttons, but I learned to use non-macros for my Parry/DI. I just press medium kick and medium punch in the same way I press grab with lights, and do R1+R2 for DI. I map my L1 and L2 as PPP and KKK so I can use them for EX a
