Is it worth it to upgrade from the pro controller 1 to the pro controller 2 with my switch 2?

Which is especially sad since third party controllers like the 8Bitdo Pro 3 can do this. I am sure this is something that Nintendo deliberately didn't implement / didn't update on the OG pro controller.

Sad day yesterday

Oh I’m sorry! I don’t have any handheld recs? But I would suggest if you ever get something like a deck again to grab an 8bitdo pro3 controller, most if not all steam games work perfect with it and steam auto maps the buttons, plus it’s incredibly light so if you have a place to prop your deck you c

Should I buy the Steam Controller for gyro or are there better options?

I’ve tried a few controllers with gyro on Rivals (Dual sense, dual sense edge, 8bitdo pro 3, Nintendo pro controller, and steam deck gyro) and the Steam Deck’s gyro has always felt a bit better than all my other controllers with the least amount of configuration and it is my preferred way to use gyr

Which Controller Are You Using?

8BitDo Pro 3. Fantastic controller, but the face buttons are very clacky and loud which took a bit of getting used to.

Controller recommendations for a total newbie?

good overall controller would be the 8bitdo Pro3 or a Retro-Bit Saturn Pro. If you like dedicated ones i would have one 6-button like the excellent 8bitdo M30 and for SNES style the 8bitdo SN30.

Nintendo Controller

8BitDo pro 3 is my favorite controller. To me it’s a better all around controller and far more conducive to games that utilize the D-Pad, like platformers.

Pro 3 vs Pro 2 vs Ultimate 2; anyone own all 3?

The Pro 3 has the same clicky dpad has the Ultimate C. The Pro 3 dpad is a downgrade from the great Pro 2 dpad. You have to be very deliberate to do shoryukens on the Pro 3 and accuracy is much worse than Pro 2. Pro 3 dpad is too stiff, too clicky, false diagonals, lack of pivot, and fatiguing. It's

What Controller should I buy to Play FH6

8bitdo Pro 3 here (playstation kid) Can be had at ridiculous prices, i paid like 35 bucks with a charging dock and wireless reciever. Hall effect triggers with vibration settings and magnetic analogue sticks. So smooth.

Switch over older emulator games

Won’t work without gyro. You can fudge the cursor with the mouse but you’ll need a gyro controller for the tilt levels. Not sure how good steam gyro integration is, but my 8bitdo pro3 doesn’t work unless it’s on switch mode and that’s spotty

Is the Switch 2 Pro Controller good enough for Street Fighter 6 at high rank?

Yes, it's amazingly solid. The 8bitdo pro 3 it's also great, I use both
