Ultimate 2

I have a hard time telling myself this is twice as good as the 8bitdo Ultimate 2 that I just paid $50 for...

Sorry if this the wrong sub to ask this question, but why even buy the Steam controller if you aren't going to use the touch pads? For me that's the selling point, but if I didn't need the touch pads I would just stick to an 8bitdo ultimate 2, way more affordable and plenty of paddles/buttons.

8BitDo Ultimate 2C. It's about 30 USD and honestly very good value with Hall effect sticks and button feel. I prefer the D-pad to both the Pro 1 and Pro 2 controllers, if that's something that matters to you.

I love the feel and sense...Ultimate 2 Wireless it's a game changer for it's price ❤️...What do you people think about it?

Just use one of the many, far cheaper, far more feature rich alternative options. 8bitdo ultimate 2, gamesir cyclone, etc. Competition has improved drastically since the switch 1 pro controller came out.

FPS aiming skills doesn't translate to 3D platforming skills at all. Also, you're using the worst kind of controller for that, get a pro controller. 8bitdo Ultimate 2C is great and affordable.

8Bitdo's official website sells replacement thumbsticks but they can be pretty pricey depending on shipping and country. I'm new to the Ultimate 2C controller so I'm unsure if it'll work but if it's the same as fixing the Pro 2 controller, replacement Dualsense thumbsticks may also be possible and w

As someone who loved the first Steam controller, and recognizes that even today 11 years later, you still can't buy any controller that has all the same features... it's been a long time coming.
