Steam Controller Priced at $149 CAD
Sorry if this the wrong sub to ask this question, but why even buy the Steam controller if you aren't going to use the touch pads? For me that's the selling point, but if I didn't need the touch pads I would just stick to an 8bitdo ultimate 2, way more affordable and plenty of paddles/buttons.

any good reliable alternatives to the regular nintendo switch pro controller?
8BitDo Ultimate 2C. It's about 30 USD and honestly very good value with Hall effect sticks and button feel. I prefer the D-pad to both the Pro 1 and Pro 2 controllers, if that's something that matters to you.

Long-Time PC (Keyboard and Mouse) Gamer Struggling HARD With Nintendo Switch Controls
FPS aiming skills doesn't translate to 3D platforming skills at all. Also, you're using the worst kind of controller for that, get a pro controller. 8bitdo Ultimate 2C is great and affordable.

Joycon Dillema Help a Fellow Gamer
Would suggest a cheaper third-party controller like the 8BitDo Ultimate 2C Bluetooth (which is intended for NS, as opposed to the PC/Xbox-oriented Wireless versions) or the GameSir Nova Lite (the OG should be cheaper than the Lite 2). Just remember to double-check if they have stuff like gyro, or fe

It’s true, the snapback is definitely worse on the Switch 2 pro controller…
Just use one of the many, far cheaper, far more feature rich alternative options. 8bitdo ultimate 2, gamesir cyclone, etc. Competition has improved drastically since the switch 1 pro controller came out.

Dualsense > Steam Controller for PC gaming
I got the 8bitdo (brand) ultimate 2 (controller) with TMR joysticks and it does work flawless tbh. Extra docking station and dongle for a great price compared to most controllers out there. I am however in the waiting list for a steam controller too cause I am curious about that controller.

Is Devil May Cry games enjoyable with Keybord and Mouse? And should i take this bundle or should i take DMC5 with Vergil dlc?
If you're looking for a solid controller for PC that's on a budget, check out the 8BitDo Ultimate 2. Or if you can spring extra get the GameSir G7 Pro.

Switch players, how do you manage to drive the faster groups?
If you want to look into third party alternatives, I have the 8bitdo ultimate 2 controller. It's not a small price tag, but it is more than worth it for something that has been reviewed as very durable, ergonomic and compatible with most gaming systems. I use it for pc, for this game and others. It
