any good reliable alternatives to the regular nintendo switch pro controller?

8BitDo Ultimate 2C. It's about 30 USD and honestly very good value with Hall effect sticks and button feel. I prefer the D-pad to both the Pro 1 and Pro 2 controllers, if that's something that matters to you.

This is a reminder to check your stick

One big difference in stickdrift/jittering if you get a controller with a hall effect sensor. It has a whole different working principle compared to normal ones. As I see that gamesir has those, it will be a whole new level after you get used to the new geometry. Since i switched to an 8bitdo ultima

I guess this explains why I’m last in racing games

The trigger membrane wears off. Mine only happened in 2 months, I was playing rocket league all day back then. My fix was opening the controller and putting a piece of rubber inside the trigger piece (I also managed to get a replacement for the membrane, but knowing it would come back, I opted for t

Controller Recommendation for PC

I just picked up the 8bitdo ultimate 2c wireless off Amazon for like... 40 bucks CAD. SO FAR I'm extremely impressed with it. Haven't done extensive testing but for 40 dollars vs the 79.99 CAD price point for other controllers it's a steal. The big sell for me was hall effect joysticks. Triggers and

Controller Recommendation for PC

I'm going to recommend the FlyDigi Vader 5 over the 8BitDo Ultimate even though they're probably comparable. The 8BitDo Ultimate 2.4g had a serious design flaw in the rubber padding inside the triggers that severely limited their viability after what is imo not an extended amount of use. I got one b

It hasn't even been a year and my controller already has stick drift.

The 8bitdo Ultimate 2C is like 30 euro and has hall effect joysticks and triggers. I really like it
