Kamrui, Acemagic and Acemagician were caught shipping with malware. If you come across those brands best to buy barebones and use your own, seperately acquired, drive/os. In truth, so many miniPC brands exist that you could really just ignore those names (it’s really one brand).

Bad support, cheap parts, known to have pre-installed malware. The issue with a lot of Acemagic/Kamrui/Acemagician miniPCs is that, even if you do a fresh install of Windows, the drivers for the insanely obscure parts like wifi can only be found on obscure chinese websites or forums.

Due to concerns with CYX (Acemagic, Acemagician, Kamrui, NiPoGi, etc) build quality & customer service in the past couple of years, most Redditors on this subReddit have moved on to AooStar, Beelink, Geekom & GMKtec as a long-term investment.

This is more a question about the manufacturer, component/assembly quality control & brand. If it's not too late, IMHO return it. Beyond the malware debacle on three models nearly 2 years ago, CYX (Acemagic, Acemagician, Kamrui, NiPoGi, MiniPC Union, etc) manufacturing quality has become questionable at best, costly at worst. It does depend on the model, as some have been found to be more
