Speaker reccomendations

I have the Adam Audio T7V, very nice sound although a bit overkill if you're in a small space. They weren't much more expensive than the T5V.

LF speakers for my boyfriends birthday

You are getting conflicting advice which is probably very irritating haha Ignore the acoustic treatment comment by me earlier, for smaller near field speakers it is not quite so important (although in a dedicated studio room I would always recommend it) and is not practical for you. 4.5" - 6.5" coul

Wow.. synthesizers just got a million times cooler after getting a subwoofer!

does a sub make sense in an untreated room? if yes: i've got a pair of Adam Audio T5V. naturally i'd pair them with their T10S sub, but a lot of people don't seem to like it, because of it's standby-feature. is there a better sub i could combine them with?

Upgrades people. Upgrades!

I'll give you my dream setup, which will blow the budget for certain items. But they might be good inspiration. Herman Miller Mirra 2 is the most comfortable chair I have ever had the pleasure to sit on. It's ridiculously expensive, as all Herman Miller chairs are, but imo used is the way to go. Off

New Work/Gaming setup

if you want pretty small the audio engine a2+ are decent but it helps to have a little subwoofer with those 6"H x 4"W x 5.25"D i would recommend adam audios t5v i have those on my desk and love them. might be a bit larger for you though 11.7" H x 7" W x 11.7" D

Purchasing piano or taking lessons?

Buy a better digital piano and put the extra money toward lessons or a good sound system. From what you’re describing, it’s like you are riding a kid’s bike and wondering why driving a Lambo feels so different. There are plenty of solid mid-range digital pianos with weighted keys that bridge the gap

What are the best options for home playing

Think I may go down the Adam Audio route. I would think Maybe the T5v the D3v looks interesting but may lacking being smaller speaker ?? With either of these will the time still be good regardless of volume levels ?

Single Speaker Recommendation for Small Turntable Setup

Adams Audio T5V, small, detailed studio near field monitor liked by audiophiles and for a full active speaker (each speaker has amplifier built in) they are budget price. A pair is better but as sold as a single speaker a second one can be added later. Turntable needs phono stage pre-amp built into

best studio monitors

I have the 5-inch Adam Audio ones T5V. I love em. Super clear, flat, but enough bass for a smaller space.

Do I need a amp if I get a reciver

In the golden days when tubes were everywhere we had radiograms and stereograms in large pieces of furniture. When we started to get transistors and integrated circuits in the late 60 and 70s we got separate amplifiers to turntables. Pre-amp with power amps were very rare due to the price and would
