AW3423DWF owner on my 3rd unit due to recurring coating issues - Dell offering refurbished same model each time - is this really the best they can do?
Just went through this with Dell and my AW3423DW - was just at the end of my warranty and noticed some burn in. They first sent a refurbished 3423, which ended up having even worse burn in and a rattling g-sync fan. I had to go back and forth for about a week, but told them how disappointed I was an

Avoid Alienware monitors!
Respectfully this has not been my experience wherein 2 of my 3 daily use monitors are Alienware (AW2721D and AW3423DW) with my main gaming monitor is the widescreen model therein. I absolutely did have issues with an Alienware gaming laptop that I regretted not returning four or so years ago, so I a

So I bought the AW3225QF
I had AW3423DW from 2021. It is amazing monitor-zero burnin no issue. But AW3225QF is 4K. This monitor has better text clarity! It’s sharper. Pixel density is better. It’s bigger. Taller and bigger. Overall better experience. I have 4080/9800X3D and I play Crimson Desert and Marathon on it now. Look

What monitors are good?
Ya these are beautiful. I have the same PC specs as him with the AW3423DW. You can usually find them on sale for around $700-750

'soomer finally feels regret after buying overpriced gpus every generation
This is a claim made. I bought one of the first available OLED ultrawides when they came out though. That Alienware aw3423dw model I believe. It's been like 3-4 years of daily use. WFH office applications during the day then gaming later at night. Somehow no burn in issues.... I do allow it to run t

Play Wow on oled monitor!
i have a Alienware 3423DW QD-OLED with HDR and i do can recommend the monitor a lot but in WoW it does not make a big of a difference. With a game that is HDR supported like assassins creed, its mindblowing. Edit: I got Burnin after 2 years, the spells were clearly visable on a grey background, it g

Buying a new gaming TV but will also use it as a monitor, should I avoid OLED?
Ive got almost 3 years of heavy use on my alienware 3423dw. No burn in and no noticeable drop in brightness. At first I was also worried about oled being a bit more fragile. But I'm more than happy with my decision. Color quality on oled is insane. Every other monitor looks washed out in comparison

[ OLED Tips ] When You Shouldn’t Run Pixel Refresh on Your LG OLED
Any proof? Hmm..🤔 “To prevent permanent Image Retention caused by static content when you use the >>monitor<< for at least 1,500 hours, >>manually<< activate the Panel Refresh function to refresh the pixels. *Alternatively, the function is activated *automatically when the accumulated usage time excee

OLED burn in, question on preventive measure
Burn in is basically a non-issue unless you deliberately leave things on your screen static for hours, days, weeks. I have an external AW3423DW OLED monitor that I've owned since 2020 and it has no shred of burn-in. Auto-hide your taskbar, Win key + L and lock the display to let it go to sleep when
