C2 OLED

I absolutely despise smart TV's. I just want a beautiful dumb OLED panel. For my LG C2, I had to accept the voice recognition terms of use to be able to see the option to disable that feature. TV OS's are spyware.

You’ve got a high-end TV, so maybe the built-in UI is decent I've got a LG C2 OLED and I cannot stand the native webOS UI. It feels like the stone age compared to an AppleTV.

Imo YES. 60hz feels so wrong to me. Edit: I’m playing on my LG C2 TV and they unlock 120hz for it. Feels completely different.

HDR works fine on Nvidia as long as you’re using KDE and using the proper proton variables PROTON_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1 PROTON_ENABLE_HDR=1 ENABLE_HDR_WSI=1 I game on CachyOS with an LG C2 42” at 4k120 with HDR where supported and it is glorious.

I'm all for bigger text. Even maybe a black border around dialogue options, because my father (in his 60's) has issues with the bright yellow glow when selecting options and has to switch options to see. This is on a 77-inch lg c2.

Is that what this is. I have a LG C2 and everytime I plug in my Mac mini it’s always blacking out randomly

lol yup it’s a dismal reaction in here. I’ll be getting one, personally. As owner of a 42” LG C2, I’d love to have OLED panels, but I understand that can increase screen door effect, too.

Try this, it’s a new fork of Moonlight specifically for LG TVs. Lucky for you the first 1.0 stable version released 2 days ago https://github.com/GuiDev1994/moonlight-tv/releases I been using it on my LG C2 and performance has been soooo much more stable and with higher bitrate vs the standard moonl

The TV is a 48" Inch LG C2. It looks small in the picture because I had to take it from a distance to get the entire setup in the shot, but from my POV where I sit it's fine:)

Contact LG even if Out of Warranty. There are reports of them offering a good will panel replacement in similar cases. Just checked my C2 thoroughly and the panel is still in pristine condition
