I noticed a large drop in my HRV a week ago from a baseline of 71 down to low 60s followed by a steady increase in RHR. My skin temperature has also been consistently above normal by +02 - +0.6C. The app kept telling me to 'pay attention', but I felt fine so I put it down to bad data from the sensor

So I decided to make my own adapter inspired by the Polar Loop design. It

Jotted down some takeaways:
Compared to Oura Resting HR: pretty much the same HRV: similar Temperature: don’t really trust either Sleep score: largely the same Recovery score (Oura readiness): slightly different but measuring different things

No, I’m not wearing them all on my right wrist, but I had to for the pic.
Long story short, a couple of months ago I got my hands on a Polar 360. This was before Polar announced their September release and before the Helio Strap was revealed. I’m a software engineer, and since Polar open-sourced th

Got the amazfit helio strap from US and it seems to be totally worth it. The sensors are very accurate and it even has a temp sensor. It figures out what part of body you’ve trained ( i was super impressed when i saw the workout report ) and the sleep tracking has been okay so far. Will be testing

I received both trackers today and will compare the data over the next days. First impression: Polar Loop looks way better and has a smaller fit. Comfort is similar, but Helio is maybe a bit more comfortable (more elastic).

I’ve been using the Pebble 2 Duo for a few weeks now and wanted to share some thoughts.
My priorities for a smartwatch are: long battery life, fun aesthetic, notifications and calendar access, weather info, sunrise/sunset and moon phase data, waterproofing, and automatic time zone/DST adjustment. I
