So this is my first Bambu Labs printer. The printer I was using previously was the Anycubic Kobra S1 combo and when it comes to color swapping I was always running into layer swifts but with H2C no issue outta the box at all.

I’d still recommend the Bambu Labs P1S in this case. The controversy around Bambu is mainly about their closed ecosystem and the move to block third-party apps, not about the quality or reliability of the printers themselves. As for the Anycubic Kobra S1, I’ve watched a number of reviews and seen qu

Just my .02 so take it as you will. Buy an enclosed coreXY printer - the print quality difference versus "open-air" bedslingers is vast, more exotic filaments can be used without so much worry as well. For what it's worth I have an Anycubic Kobra S1 with an Ace Pro and it serves me quite well. The p

The place I consult for uses Creo. Edit: to clarify, I modeled it on-site using Creo, exported as a STEP rather than STL to avoid tesselation related artifacts, imported into Anycubic Slicer Next, defaults for generic PLA and hit go. The Kobra S1 is a nice machine for its price.

My regret is not going with Bambu to begin with. I now own 3 Bambu Lab printers. 200, 600, and 1100 hours respectively, the only tinkering I’ve had to do is basic maintenance to keep everything lubed. Kobra S1 has about 300 hours on it, with probably 299.95 hours being problem solving test prints 🤣

Keep in mind you’re essentially a beta tester with the Kobra X, its initial presentation might look promising but it’s not proven long term. My personal experience with Anycubic has not been reliable or trustworthy. After a Kobra 2 and a Kobra S1, I wouldn’t trust anything they make anymore. They’re

There are currently three main versions of hotends for the Kobra S1: The first version of the original hotend with a PTFE/ceramic throat tube. These are more prone to clogging issues, and the filament tends to get stuck in areas that make assembly difficult. The second version of the original hotend

Used to be, people would recommend the Centauri Carbon, but people seem to be big mad at Elegoo right now. I kind of have the same question. I had standardized on the Anycubic platform for my 3D printing, so I got a Kobra S1 to do 3D2a stuff in engineering filaments, but I’ve had nothing but problem

We love our 3d printers. Definitely helps owning 3 to speed up the printing process. Springtrap was started last year and at the time took about a month or two to print due to speed and time. Adding two more printers helped reduce the print time for Golden Freddy down to a couple weeks (including ad

i habe both. Why? U1 for Multicolor or Multimaterial P2S for ABS/ASA for Car Stuff und more. Both can be fitted with a Panda Breath for active Heated Chamber so i only need to buy 1 Heater. And when i do big Prints or Multi part prints i just run them parallel. Also filament Storage & Drying with th
