AirPods Pro 3

I’ve always been an Android user. The only time I tried iPhone was back in the iPhone 5 days, and honestly, I couldn’t stand the walled garden restrictions. After that, I kept hopping between different Android phones, with my most recent daily driver being a Samsung S22 Ultra. Solid phone, but after

I saw someone else say exactly the same thing recently, so it’s clearly not just a one off. That being said, I also have the AirPods Pro 3 and have flown with them just fine – it might be an exact device configuration, or maybe somehow a bad batch?

I did a quick test out of curiosity…

The AirPods Pro 3 obviously win on ANC and low-end fullness, but tonally the wired setup isn’t far behind. A lot of micro-detail and clarity are still there. Paranoid Android

I have a feeling that AirPods Pro 3 will be the best and fastest selling Apple accessory ever.

I have the AirPods Pro 2 and just use my watch 8 charger to charge them. I don’t even carry the wire charger.

I’ve used my AirPods Pro 2 all day (7+ hours) almost every day for about a year and a half. For $249 that’s insane value for money and you bet I will be getting these in a heartbeat.

This is my updated EDC (picture 1). I’ve upgraded my Iphone and the AirPods. The AirPods Pro 3 are great so far and I might put them in a black case. My EDC used to be exclusively black(picture 2), but I guess I’m moving away from only one color palette. In order from left to right:

I've thought the AirPods Pro 2 were the best wireless earbuds on the market for the last year, and the AirPods Pro 3 bring improvements like longer battery life, much better mics, and slightly better ANC! (yeah, Apple's claims of "2X better ANC", I don't agree... I'd say it's like 10% better ANC).

I remember sitting next to the track at the f1 Grand Prix in Belgium 2022, AirPods Pro in, ANC on with race commentary playing. It was the single best live sport experience I’ve ever had. Such a niche way to take advantage of ANC but hopefully that answers your question in loud environments!
