iPad Pro features I use every day that most people don't know about - add yours
After two years of daily use, these are the things that genuinely changed how I work: Back Tap (Settings - Accessibility - Touch - Back Tap)- double or triple tap the back of the iPad to trigger any shortcut. I use triple tap to open Control Center. Game changer with one hand Apple Pencil hover - on

is buying an ipad just for procreate is worth it?
I've tried it all and an iPad Pro, an Apple pencil (not the USB-CC version), a paper feel screen protector and Procreate is the best digital drawing experience I've found. Hands down. That being said, save some money and get a good used iPad Pro from eBay. You didn't need the newest M4 processor. Si

Is this normal?
True but unfortunately there are some people that prefer new over refurbished and not everyone has the same needs as me & you I do agree that the usb c pencil isn’t great for drawing due to no pressure sensitivity and the Apple Pencil 1st generation is good but an absolute hindrance to charge & conn

I just bought the M5 MacBook Air and the iPad feels completely USELESS. Change my mind.
I felt the same way when I bought the m4 iPad 6 month ago. I had trouble justifying carrying the extra screen around. But…Having bought it I sat down created use cases to either justify the expense or get rid of it. my company creates apps for sales users on iPhone and iPad, and I forced myself to u

11” vs 13”
Sounds like you have all the reasons to switch to an 11. I went from an iPad Pro 11 m4 to an iPad Pro 13 m5. For me the size difference was worth it. Although I loved to portability of the 11, I always felt like I was compromising on things that felt important to me from a bigger writing surface, be

Need advice! Should I get a iPad for drawing? If so which one?
I would say either an iPad with at least 256GB of storage, usb c port & support for either Apple Pencil 2 or Apple Pencil Pro So I would suggest either iPad Air (5th (M1), 6th (M2), 7th (m3) & 8th (m4)) or an iPad Pro (5th (M1), 6th (m2), 7th (M4) & 8th (M5)) I would strongly recommend m4 iPad Pro w

which ipad should i get?
Firstly, if your sixth form or college will give you an email address ending in .ac.uk, wait until you have access to that, so that you can get the educational discount. If you're fine with an 11", the base iPad will probably be fine. Go for 256gb and an apple pencil, which you can get for £498 with

First drawing tablet ever!
Can I give you a slightly different piece of advice, as someone that does art for a living? If you are just learning how to draw, don't get a digital tablet to start. Instead of spending the $1-2k on the tablet and still needing to learn, invest in a good classical drawing class like this one from S

Advice Wanted: iPad A16? M4 Air? None?
i have A16 and iPad Pro M4. No way is A16 a suitable choice. I'd go current year models. If I buy second-hand, I'd stay with purchasing from Apple store refurbish. Instead: Lightweight: Air or higher 11 inch plus Apple Pencil that charges on side of iPad. No less than 512GB or 256GB because of Procr

Starting in illustration & animation. Is the iPad Pro worth investing?
I can offer my personal story. I design concert posters. As my work become more illustrated I pushed working with the mouse as far as I could and the Wacom just felt too tethered to me. I was good at working with bezier paths, but it still felt constricting and time-consuming. So I got an iPad Pro a
