Apple's $599 MacBook Neo Shocks PC Industry Leaders
People act like Apple never had budget devices until now, but it’s not really the case. The Mac mini was released in 2005 and has regularly gotten refreshed ever since(it’s current M4, 16GB memory base version is $599), various generations of iPhone models had budget versions (6c, etc.), they made t

Letting off steam - from a Windows user of almost 3 decades.
M4 Mac Mini with Tahoe 26.2. No bugs whatsoever, everything is snappy and fast. Although my M4 Mini is maxed out and not the standard model.

Microsoft confirms Windows 11 KB5077212, KB5079420 break PC reset on 25H2 and 24H2 systems
Absolute Apple hater here. I now own 2 M4 Mac Minis and a M4 MacBook Air. They just work. The rest of my household is Fedora, and UnRaid. The single remaining Windows box is used for gaming but will soon be replaced too.

What do you run Plex on?
Mac Mini M4 with a QNAP DAS. It's overkill but close to zero maintenance. My last server was a 2014 Mac Mini that lasted 10 years.....in fact it would probably still be fine if I didn't upgrade.

Apple Watch in significant global decline for two years now; new features needed
It’s a win for consumers but not necessarily for Apple’s bottom line. But yeah their stuff is lasting a lot longer these days. My M1 iPad Pro from 2021 is still crushing it and I think my M4 Mac Mini will last 5+ years easily.

"Apple does this and ya'll love it": Microsoft VP fires back at trolls over Windows 11's new performance boost feature. "It's not cheating; this is how modern systems make apps feel fast."
No I had a Mac mini M4, I just sold it because it sucked. So much happier with Windows 11.

I just love the Mac Mini M4 🫶🏼
It's incredible. I don't even think about it because it just works. I also have a MacBook Pro M4 Pro (24GB), and I do the same work on both, but for gaming, I use the Mac Mini only. System Toolkit Pro is very useful for uninstalling apps, deleting cache, and looking into the sysme info.

Apple Announces Plans to Begin Assembling Mac Mini in U.S. This Year
I guess I'm weird and irregular... I upgraded from an M1 Max Mac Studio to an M4 Pro Mac mini and love it. I'm able to emulate games in RPCS3 at higher resolutions with better FPS. The CPU improvements are noticeable. I also have an M4 MacBook Air but I find myself using my Mac mini much, much more.

Question about SSD upgrade on the M4 Mac Mini
Incorrect. Legally, opening and installing an aftermarket nand memory module does NOT automatically void your warranty. Of course Apple does not warranty non-original parts. Under US law, the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act protects consumers' rights to open their devices and use third-party parts. In th
