Weird because I have a T7 I use for music production and I’ve been getting slow disk/overload errors in logic on an M4 Pro Mac mini with 24GB ram. That machine is more than capable of what I’m throwing at it and I’ve had 2015 Intel MacBooks and M1 MacBooks work larger projects off the same drive fin

Apple approves driver that lets Nvidia eGPUs work with Arm Macs (unofficial driver for using LLMs in docker)
RISC won. I'm more interested in Vulkan support... and going back to the previous OS version on my Mac Mini M4. Specially for iTunes. Apple Intelligence has good intentions, but what matters is a baseline. Fork @ Tahoe.

Windows vs. Mac for Berkeley EECS
I did undergrad and grad school doing CS/EECS with Windows just fine. WSL2 is plenty good. If anything what with only M-series chips being a thing on Macs I would go for a Windows device with a dGPU; my M4 Mac Mini is great at running CPU-heavy workloads but the moment images are thrown into the mix

Want to try linux for the first time on a macbook air m2 with 8gb of ram (256gb storage)
My main goal is to try some games on linux.I have a m4 mac mini with 16gb of ram , since m4 doesnt support linux yet, I am stuck with my macbook .Does minecraft on asahi has better shader support than on macos?

Must be something about the OLED . I have odyssey neo g7 (Q mini led) And don't get this issue . My issue sometime the mac mini m4 has a hard time to wake up monitor .

I have this exact monitor, and bought a Mac Mini M4 a few months ago and had this exact issue. Using BetterDisplay has improved it slightly, but I’m still not entirely happy. Should I get a mac mini alongside my macbook air m5 ?
