"Build quality risk"? Sure, my M4 MacBook Air 15" is a little more "perfect" but my FW16 HX 370 is awfully nice, certainly nicer than the System76/Clevo Oryx Pro it replaced. If you don't have any problem with MacBooks being completely soldered and glued/completely non-repairable and non-upgradeable

Ah yes, but that's a different topic... My MBA 15 (M3, 24GB) started polishing the keycaps after little usage. Apple choices sometimes are weird AF.

Uneaven gaps and misalingment on Macbook Neo.
It’s not – I had to get the display on my Air M5 replaced under warranty because of it. The display was misaligned and was hard to open with one finger. I’d take it in to Apple.
