I would recommend getting a MacBook Air m3 or m4. would serve you well long term. With ai picking up everywhere, it’s possible you might have to do stuff in future that requires running local models. Ipad or macbook ?
a laptop is always better than a tablet. if you already have a good laptop go for it ipad, if not go for macbook air m3 and above. an iphone and a macbook will complete your apple ecosystem.

Anyone else just not use their MacBook after getting a Magic Keyboard for their iPad?
Same. I got a Magic Keyboard for my M3 Air and I ended up giving my windows laptop to my aunt. I might eventually get a MacBook, but right now this combo fits my needs perfectly.
