Studio Display XDR Crashes Still Persist
man the studio display xdr is probably one of apple's best worst products. on one hand, it's an awesome display with a high resolution and great color accuracy. on the other hand, it's pretty buggy (atleast from what i've seen, i don't actually own one). so buggy that updating it might brick it, lik

Appple Studio Display owners, is it really worth that high price?
I think it was the right choice for me, but I don't think it's worth the price. Or at least, I wouldn't list "bang per buck" as a feature. I wanted it because it reportedly used the same panel as my 5k imac, so I knew what I was getting. But the downside to that is that in 2025, we're still paying "

I wonder why people really don’t prefer iMacs anymore?
There are cheaper 5k panels coming into the market now. The new ASUS is £699. Granted it’s a plastic body but I’d imagine Apple can get the same panel into a nicer body for not a lot more. They’d have to upgrade the studio display a fair bit though or it’d demolish those sales

The Studio XDR is something else
It really should’ve just replaced the Studio Display. The improvements are all what you’d expect for a $1600 monitor over 4 years

2026 APPLE DISPLAY VS EIZO
My ideal setup includes an Apple Display somewhere on set as most people who see the pictures online will watch them on a bright glossy display (smartphones, MacBook etc...).Apple Displays are fiddly to use on set because of their ports. It is not as easy as buying a 10 meters HDMI or DisplayPort ca

Most favorite Apple product and least favorite
My favourite is iPhone Air, or 5c if we can go back that far. I simply like the feel when holding them. Least favourite is Studio Display as well, that crappy 60hz is just terrible if you’ve seen anything decent.

Time to move on from my 27" 2019 iMac - Any advice?
The 27" Apple Studio Display is the same screen that you are used to.

Actually loving the new standard Studio Display?
The thing is, it’s not that it’s inherently bad. It’s that we should be able to get a whole lot more for that price point. We have the original studio display which is basically the same as the new studio display. It’s certainly not bad but it has all of the normal IPS issues like poor uniformity wi

Is the Mac Studio Display XDR worth it at $2,475?
I have been using it for the past week Imo its a good monitor but unless your work requires HDR editing get the studio display and save money. That’s what I will do tomorrow after I return it to apple store. 120hz is nice but absolutely not noticeable for most things on this monitor since you wont b

The LG UltraFine 6K's matt coating
Yeah waiting around for apple's rumored refreshed 5k Studio Display w/ nanotexture & yeah it probably will be overpriced on raw specs but its like everyone else is trying to not get you to buy their products Dell coating isn't quite as bad but not quite as sharp as apple's work either. There's kuyco
