From iMac 27 to MacMini

Doesnt sound to me like you need a studio or mac mini pro based on the workload you presented. Since you have come from an imac, I would look at one of the 27" 5k displays from companies like LG or Asus ProArt.

Need Help for an Updated Setup

You just need a USB-C (whatever port the MBP has) to HDMI cable to connect to the external display. You can use the existing Bluetooth keyboard/mouse and new monitor with or without the hub (Dock). It's just a matter of swapping the cable, the dock would simplify this. I bought this Hub for less tha

Complete the phrase: You're not a real photographer until you break a _____ or two.

Today he agreed that we should move ahead with the computer I'm building to edit photos and video and run LLMs locally. 100% support this move. Related to this, get a good monitor. I have an Asus ProArt 27-inch monitor and it's great. Have heard good things about BenQ monitors too. I spent way too l

Photographers/Videographers, what Mid-Range monitors are you using with your M4 Mac Mini Pro?

Currently using two asus ProArt 27inch PA278QV for around $350 CAD each. I liked the first one well enough to get a second one. Colours are really nice, and doesnt break the bank.

Monitor suggestions/help

I have 2 x Dell S2721DS monitors at home (27", 1440) and an Asus ProArt PA278QV (27", 1440) at work (with a Dell 24" 1080 Ultrasharp as a second monitor). The 27" 1440 monitors were all around $300 CAD. Going larger than 24" with 1080 is kind of pointless, it'll be like just moving your face closer

2500$ double monitored gaming/art build

I used this bundle from Canada Computers for the CPU, mb, and memory. This saves you around $135, compared to buying the same parts online. CPU: The Ryzen 7 9700X is a powerful 8c/16t CPU. It will work well for both gaming and art/photo work. CPU COOLER: The ID-COOLING FROZN A620 PRO SE is a phenome

Those who edit alot, what size monitors do you use?

3x 27-inch monitors. From left to right: Colour calibrated EIZO CGX2700 (2160p) Factory Calibrated ProArt PA278QV (1440p) Crappy 27” curved Dell gaming monitor that I use for my bins or scopes. ASUS ProArt is incredible for editors. 27-inch 1440p is the perfect sweet spot in my opinion.
