Displays & Monitors
I'm hoping for a Mac Studio Display 2.0 -- rumored to be true HDR. Meanwhile I have the Studio display as well and am pleased with it. OP, there are not many options for large (32" or greater) HDR monitors at the moment. That's why Hasselblad literature talks about recent iPads and Macbook Pros that

Editing monitor for Lightroom
Will you be editing for display HDR? if so, are any of those monitors supporting it? and bright enough? or are you thinking of moving to it in the future as it becomes more prevalent? that could be a factor. But even putting that aside, I'd look hard at the new ASUS ProArt Display PA32QCV. On pre or

Desktop HDR
A big factor in me switching from Windows to Linux recently has Bazzite working out the box with HDR. I have a fancy ASUS ProArt PA32QCV monitor and it looks fantastic.

Dilemma with glossy vs nano on Studio Display XDR
For those wanting a cheaper but larger variant, I have the Asus PA32QCV with its "LuxPixel". It's the same as how people describe the Nano XDR, I read in 1 thread that have both is the Nano Texture and LuxPixel are practically the same; $1200, got it $1000 from BestBuy. Gets up to 750 nits fullscree

Appple Studio Display owners, is it really worth that high price?
So, I think the calculus has changed significantly in the 10+ months since that was posted. There are now many 27" 5K and 32" 6K displays to choose from. I'm currently using two VESA mount 2022 Studio Displays in portrait plus an Asus ProArt PA32QCV 32" 6K as a landscape center display. I'm quite sa

Apple testing a Studio Display with high-end ports and speakers | Code discoveries point to dual Studio Display 2 configurations, with changes that may separate a standard model from a premium one.
What's your use case? Maybe something like an ASUS PA32QCV would suit you. I use this for programming/app development, and general productivity tasks, and it's amazing. It's colour-accurate enough, with a mode that emulates the colours on my MacBook's screen, and bright enough to use in a bright roo

BenQ MA270S 27” 5k monitor - Anyone spent any real time with it yet?
Depends on how many sunlight is in your room. I have the Asus PA32QCV 6k with the LuxPixel (like nano-texture), it goes up to 750 nits and I think that's just right when it's sunniest. You probably will want more with 450 nits, but again my living room set up has full-body windows so it definitely g
