I haven't seen a matte in person but I can imagine it's nice to have it; isn't that why Apple charges more FOR matte (nano-texture) after all? What exactly am I missing? I'm guessing you have the 6K

Depends on how many sunlight is in your room. I have the Asus PA32QCV 6k with the LuxPixel (like nano-texture), it goes up to 750 nits and I think that's just right when it's sunniest. You probably will want more with 450 nits, but again my living room set up has full-body windows so it definitely g
