4K Mini-LED Gaming Value - KTC M27P6 Review
I have two setups at home. One for work (KTC M27P6 and MSI 274updfe16m) and one for gaming/personal stuff (oled/Asus Pg27ucdm). Colors across all three is excellent. HDR is excellent. Black levels are excellent too but perfect on the PG27UCDM. In mostly black or dim situations the minileds can have

Still confused about what type of monitor to get.
Definitely get nothing less than 4K monitors. I now use a Dell 27" U2723QE and a LG 27UP850K-W as a secondary monitor and it works really well with my M2 Max Mac Studio. If you’re looks for a gaming monitor and have the budget to spend, this is the next monitor on my to buy list: the Asus PG27UCDM 2

Still deciding if the LG 27GM950B-B is a keeper
In practice, with SDR + Local Dimming off, even though "they should look the same", the LG GM9 looks WAAAY better than the ASUS ROG Strix XG27JCG. Source: I had them both at the same time, used them back-to-back days. The LG is just a much better looking display, for whatever reason (better finish,

Should I upgrade my GPU now?
If you can afford it, do it. I went from a 2080Ti to a 4090 a couple years ago and recently moved from 1440p 240Hz to the PG27UCDM. My games are probably similar to yours and I stuck with 1440p for years because I was concerned about frame rate in 4K but I have no issues even without DLSS, frame gen

buying my very first monitor for my new desk setup
I have this monitor. If your going competitive, stick to pg27ucdm. Otherwise make sure you have enough room to place the monitor arms length away

What monitor/s is everybody rocking ?
PG27UCDM. Costs as much as the 5080 when I bought it but no regrets. Excellent monitor for gaming and media consumption.

1440p or 4k for rtx 5080
I was in the same boat, so I just bought the totl 4K monitor at the time (PG27UCDM) and never been happier. First game I played was Expedition 33 and I’m getting 140-180 fps on native 4k epic (max graphics) settings and constant 240fps on DLSS with x4 Frame Gen. 4K movies with HDR look perfect.

Did I make a bad choice??
Oh for competitive play , it is a different beast altogether . There the added latency will be a problem . Your choice makes sense then . Although I believe that in the future Nvidia will manage to create 2x or even 3x FG with latency that low that it will only be a problem for the top level of prof
