Give me the good/bad/ugly on the Asus RT-BE86U
I replaced my ancient AC-68U with an ASUS RT-BE86U and in the mean time, sent it back. Either for repair or for a refund. For a device that is about 12 years newer, it was just awful. It was actually worse than the old Asus router: Many devices often lost the connection (tables, raspis, phones, tvs,

Router advice

Bricked ASUS AC-68U, please help
I just tested freshtomato-RT-AC1900P-K26ARM-2025.3-VPN-64K and the wifi signal got slightly better but the speeds were around 3-5 Mbps for VPN connections. Previously I had flashed it with freshtomato-RT-AC1900P-K26ARM-2025.3-AIO-64K and the speeds were well below 1Mbps for VPN connections. Using th
