Seems like ANC release might be imminent

[LFH] [PC] Wireless Headset Suggestion

I am in the same boat and I feel like quality is a huge issue nowadays… many headsets offer decent to good sound quality and features. I had the Logitech G pro X2 and the right channel just died exactly one month after warranty expired. Otherwise they were nice, apart from the microphone. I even spe

Wicked Cushions vs. Dekoni - Maxwell 2 - Initial Impressions / Review

Actually midnight is protein leather so technically it is worse than stock because you get similar material with less ear space and more padding impacting sound quality/clarity. Is there anything that can be done about the Maxwell 2 hiss? Should I buy original Maxwells?

I had a very similar experience. I bought the Maxwell 2 and the hiss was extremely noticeable, honestly unbearable for daily use. I ended up returning them and getting the original Maxwell instead, and the first thing I noticed was that the Maxwell 1 also has a tiny bit of hiss, but it is much lower

[LFH] [PC] Wireless Headset Suggestion

I’ve also been trying to decide between those headsets as well as the Audeze Maxwell 2 and Astro 50. For background, my headset will be connected to my Xbox in the lounge and then my PC in the study, so needs to be portable-ish. Connecting to an AppleTV box for movies would be a bonus too - I curren

Maxwell 1 vs Maxwell 2

But it's true, right? Dude, I'm a huge Audeze fan and I love this company, and I don't have any of the complaints 90% of people have about the mic or sidetone. People tell the bass has gotten worse, but the soundstage has FINALLY better now. Really? Was it bad before? Haha. I have some great soundtr

Brand new Maxwell 2 issue

Something has dramatically changed either with Audeze supply chain, quality control or both, for Maxwells that is. Both 1 (the remaining stock) and 2 have insane issues. Wish we would get clarity on that but we never will. I just went with Kitharas despite them being wired

Just got the Nova Pro OMNI, AMA

SteelSeries support is honestly one of the main reasons I stopped buying their products altogether. For a company charging premium prices, the customer service feels completely disconnected from the consumer experience. When people report common issues like hinge cracks, battery failures, firmware b

Steel Series Nova Pro vs Audeze Maxwell 2 (and Steel Series GG question)

I disagree with the poster above about the Maxwell 2 sound quality. I think the nova pro is good enough and most people are not going to care outside of the differences in frequency response that you could EQ. The audeze has so many issues like crinkling noises, rain drop noise from condensation dev

Looking for honest and brutal opinion on the maxwell 2

Exactly this. The Maxwells are a lottery - With the 2's there's about a 40% chance of getting that hissing sound. For the Maxwell 1s, going by a Reddit poll, 60 to 70% of users had a unit with the interfering sidetone static, including myself. Audeze have taken the Battlefield approach to Maxwell re
