DT770’s have poor low end?

I have the 250 ohm version. I use them for tracking and spot checking, but I'd never even consider mixing with them -- I use audeze MM-500 for that. Yes, the low end is a bit unreliable if you were to mix with them.

YET ANOTHER STUDIO TREATMENT POST

You can produce and mix and master on some headphones... Audeze MM500 for me translates super well for any other system... it needs a little EQ (check Oratory1990), but I can be 100% confident that what I hear is going to translate. Monitoring is super important and that's why you see large studio's

What's you opinion on High End headphones vs Monitors for mixing/mastering?
