DT770’s have poor low end?
I have the 250 ohm version. I use them for tracking and spot checking, but I'd never even consider mixing with them -- I use audeze MM-500 for that. Yes, the low end is a bit unreliable if you were to mix with them.

YET ANOTHER STUDIO TREATMENT POST
You can produce and mix and master on some headphones... Audeze MM500 for me translates super well for any other system... it needs a little EQ (check Oratory1990), but I can be 100% confident that what I hear is going to translate. Monitoring is super important and that's why you see large studio's

What's you opinion on High End headphones vs Monitors for mixing/mastering?
I am only recommending about headphones, but headphone mixing still needs a good pair of speaker cause like, you still need to 'feel' how your mix fill up the space/room and just feel the whole ride you know from start to finish :) (of course, a/bing with your fav songs help alot) But that said, lik
