Complete Noob… Somebody help me out.
Honestly, downvote me into oblivion, but I'm going to tell you the cheapest way to get the best sound out of Amplitube using my 20 years of experience with software/pedals/whatever. First you need to decide on an audio interface. Check these links: https://www.guitarworld.com/features/best-guitar-au

How do u guys know if enemy is inside ur house with sound.
I used to run Audio-Technicas back in the day too, had some great times with them. Since then I’ve tried a bunch of different headphones, but I’ve been sticking with the JDS Labs Atom stack + Sennheiser HD 560S for over two years now. They’re starting to wear out, so I was thinking of going to the A

After my first two boards, I decided that lubing stabs was the only thing worth doing
That's interesting. I'm not an audiophile I just wanna game, but I stepped up from an hd 280 to an ath-ad700x. The audio technica seemed to respond very well to an eq but the 280 was kinda meh. Slightly better? Now I know neither of those is a particularly great headphone so maybe that's the differe

Astro A50x vs Razer BlackShark V3 Pro
I was looking at buying a new headset almost a year ago. I was using Astro A40 TRs. I did a bunch of research (probably about 6 months) and came down to a few. If you’re on PC, HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend the Audio Technica ATH-AD700x and the Sure MV6 microphone. The 700x headset is amazing for footste

[LFH][PC][£200][UK] Gaming Headset for solo play.
honestly for solo play without a mic, you don't need a 'gaming headset' - proper headphones are way better. the Audio-Technica ATH-AD700X has insane soundstage and imaging for footsteps and immersion. it's open back though so you'll hear room noise. if you want closed back, the Beyerdynamic DT 770 P

[irl]Headset
Yup, my Astro A50s ($300) died and I replaced them with an AudioTechnica AD700x ($99 on sale). Granted I also bought a new DAC and Amp to drive them, but the sound difference is incredible. Then just got a boom arm and a basic hyper x mic for discord and if I need new headphones or a new mic, I can

I need help
If your main focus is competitive gaming (footsteps / positioning / clarity) you’ll usually get better results looking at headphones with a more neutral or slightly bright tuning rather than “bass-heavy gaming headsets.” Since you don’t need a mic, some really solid options: Under ~$200 • Sennheiser

Over the ear headphones
Absolute best for pressure i have tried is the Audio Technica ad700x.They are not made anymore tho so you would have to find them or one of the others in the series used.
