Best headphones for Video Editing.
I also edit on a Mac mini and I use a pair of Audio-Technica ATH-M40x headphones. For critical listening you need a good pair of over-the-ear studio reference monitor phones for accuracy, comfort and passive isolation. What you don't need is active noise cancellation specially in consumer grade head

Whats better for music productions Audio-Technica ath-m50x or sony mdr 7506
I'd actually highly recommend the ATH-M40x headphones. They have a much more even and flat response and are much better for music production. The ATH-M50x's are more for tracking and listening to music as a consumer. I find the Sony MDR-7506's to be harsh and lack low end. The Sony MDR-7506's are te

Being and Audiophile with Tinnitus
Mine are different, as my tinnitus is stress/burnout-related and is always a background screech, I cannot hear it with music playing. What I understood from other people with tinnitus is that headphones are often the best option. Which ones, is hard to tell, that is very personal.I personally would a

Which headphones should I buy?
I've had a good experience with Audio Technica ATH-M40x from 10 years ago. They have a fairly flat response and full range. I'm not sure if anything has changed in current models. They are around $100.

What headphones (no mic)are you using to play in 2026?
AudioTechnica ATH M40xI use the M70x right now, but if you only care about FPS games the M40x is actually easier to hear things with. The M70x sounds amazing, but it has this issue where the headband breaks pretty easily. Mine already snapped, so I cannot really recommend it lol.

Get what you pay for I guess
Strangely ive never had this issue before, ive had them sound tinny or underwater but only in both ears. Usually the cheap ones, and ones that have been abused by dropping them or getting too dirty will have this effect, hense why i stopped wearing airpods. For 175 you can get the shokz openair 2, t

FRFR needed?
It's all been said already so won't repeat it all but I used headphones a lot, I love hearing the stereo effects but also don't want to piss my neighbours off all the time. I would say get a good pair of headphones though, I have Audio-Technica ATH-M40x and the TMP sounds amazing. I do have an FRFR

Headphones for editing
The Audio-Technica ATH-m40x are very flat. I usually use the older ATH-m40fs as I prefer the fit. DISCLAIMER: Yes, I am in fact an asshole. !
