I went down a whole Wi‑Fi speaker rabbit hole trying to find a just press play home sound system for casual listening, and the JBL Authentics 500 ended up being the one that finally stopped the chase. Apple music via airplay vs tidal connect on Zeppelin Pro
I'm getting one of these, but the lack of Tidal Connect is a downside. My Naim Mu-so Gen 2 supports it, allowing direct playback from the Tidal app, just like Spotify Connect. With the Zeppelin Pro, however, you have to stream through the Bowers & Wilkins app, not directly from Tidal.
