Yoto is worth every penny, but life hack, have grandparents record themselves reading stories and tell them kiddo can listen to their voice any time, and the grandparents will buy it for you if they can.

Just here to suggest the Yoto player. It’s been a hit from 5-8. My 12 year old likes it too, but the books for her age are limited, so she typically uses Libby or Sora instead.

The most played with items for my 3 year old are Magnetiles, little people, play dough, monster trucks, and his Yoto/headphones. Some of my favorite things he has are some board games, practice dry erase book for tracing letters/shapes/numbers, kitchen and play food, and art supplies. I would stick

Honestly if your toddler is loving the yoto I’d stick with that one! We have a tonie box and my 2.5yo is not drawn to it at all, I’m contemplating getting a yoto!

We got our yoto player two years ago for Christmas. It’s still our most used toy.

Get a Yoto player and then ‘make your own card’ with the songs you want. Then he can play that card. Won’t need the internet

Other option is a Yoto Player, which is basically the same thing. But yes, they are awesome.

Tell him to put down the damn phone and grab a book instead. If he doesn’t like reading, maybe invest in a Yoto and play some bedtime stories.

This. My 6 year old is obsessed with her Yoto player! That being said it last, it’s definitely a great investment ‘ easy gift to ask for new cards.

Naps killed us, too. It sucks. We started playing podcasts for my son after books when he was 3 for this reason (and because I couldn’t bring myself to buy into the yoto system). Our favorites are Goodnight World (Sesame street) and Magic Woods. They’re nice and calm but still interesting.
