Just here to suggest the Yoto player. It’s been a hit from 5-8. My 12 year old likes it too, but the books for her age are limited, so she typically uses Libby or Sora instead.

Not so much a resource but let your child be bored sometimes, they don’t need constant stimulation. Boredom brings out creativity. I prefer yoto player because I can actually use the dials to find specific songs. It also requires a very hard slap to change songs and Tonies are expensive

Yoto player. Like a portable speaker that uses cards to tell it what songs or books to play. Similar to a Tonie. You can also lock the max volume through an app. Which can make it much safer to little ears, and adult sanity
