Mini PC recommendations + best AI accelerator for Frigate?
A BeeLink U59 Pro has worked well for Home Assistant and Frigate in my setup - you can use an mini PCIe Coral TPU in the slot under the NVME. I use a BeeLink EQ12 for Opnsense without issue. Both are powered from a single GaN USB C quite happily. Emby & other apps live on my NAS as I wanted discreet

Mini PC for home server under £500
Obviously it depends on what you are planning to do with it. If it’s all very basic and you need to learn still, I would personally go with an intel i3-1220p or i5-1235U and 16-32GB of RAM with an SSD of around 500-1TB. That gives you enough headroom to grow and it would last 5 years easily. These c

Beelink ME Mini: HUGE Design Flaw? [Big post]
As the owner of a Beelink EQ12 which I could never get to run reliably I'm not surprised. I think in this space you get what you pay for

Dedicated Plex Server (Mini PC)
I was running mine for years on a Synology DS218+ without any issues, but it was getting old and a little underpowered, so I decided to go with a Beelink EQ12 N100 with an attached hard drive enclosure. It worked fine for a few months and then started having random shutdown issues with nothing in th

Question about a mini pc
Sure, but it wont be pretty or fast. Id go with a N100 one if you really want a mini pc. The N4000 will not make for a snappy experience. One thing to keep in mind - ive had four now and all but one are in desperate need of replacement fans. They just dont survive 24/7 operation. Ny favorite is a 6

Hardware recommendations with 2.5g ports for opnsense
I bought a beelink EQ12 and it's solid solid, probably 2-4x overkill for me. https://a.co/d/03R95oeh (if the stupid short link doesn't work let me know and I'll use a computer that doesn't hijack my links into apps to get a clean one later)

Looking for suggestions for my first NAS
I dont know much about exact models or brands so i told chatgpt thinking to answer to your question: got you — here are mini-pc picks i’d actually buy for “nas + plex” (low idle, quiet, quick sync ready): asus expertcenter pn42 (n100/n200, fanless, dual 2.5gbe). rock-solid brand, silent, and the rar
