Should I wait or is there a good value mini PC?
Crazy for sure, one example of mine is the Beelink EQi12 I bought 11/11/2024 for AUD $471 with 24GB LDDR5 Ram is now AUD $651 with 16Gb DDR4 Ram. CPU is Intel Core i3-1220P. One of the M.2 PCIE SSD I added to it for AUD $189 now costs AUD $499! It doesn't matter about the currency, look at the perce

Beelink vs Optiplex
I have the EQ12 and a similar spec HP Elite Desk 800 SFF pc in a Proxmox cluster. I run Frigate (with 9 cameras) on the HP. I run most of my other services on the Beelink. If I could only keep one, I'd keep the HP... having expansion options is handy.

Beelink ME Mini: HUGE Design Flaw? [Big post]
As the owner of a Beelink EQ12 which I could never get to run reliably I'm not surprised. I think in this space you get what you pay for

Dedicated Plex Server (Mini PC)
I was running mine for years on a Synology DS218+ without any issues, but it was getting old and a little underpowered, so I decided to go with a Beelink EQ12 N100 with an attached hard drive enclosure. It worked fine for a few months and then started having random shutdown issues with nothing in th

Question about a mini pc
Sure, but it wont be pretty or fast. Id go with a N100 one if you really want a mini pc. The N4000 will not make for a snappy experience. One thing to keep in mind - ive had four now and all but one are in desperate need of replacement fans. They just dont survive 24/7 operation. Ny favorite is a 6

SER 6 Pro 6900HX BIOS update failed
I wanted to give an update on this, as I’m a bit dissatisfied with the response given by Beelink customer support. I reached out via email and asked how to have my unit repaired and what the cost might be. After being told they would very graciously replace my computer (which I’m very grateful for,

New mini PC for Plex server. Accessing remotely?
I'm currently running on beelink EQ12 with N100, 512gb ssd with a 4TB SATA SSD. It is decent if you're not transcoding. Storage is becoming abit of bottleneck after 1yr+. IMO minipc is a nice way to start, but I think it'll be good to add in a NAS down the road. Edit: No experience, just start learn

Beelink EQi12 CPU Power Limit
Indeed. There's a couple of factors in play supporting the 45W TDP / 115W MTP Core i7-12650H within the AZW/Beelink EQ series platform. PSU integration not only reduced power supply output to 85W to accommodate a smaller PSU, the integration also reduced PCB/cooler footprint. The result, thermal thr
