Base mac mini m4 worth over minis forum or beelink?

If you live in any part of the Apple ecosystem the Mac Mini M4 is a plus! My granddaughter has a 24GB Mac Mini M4 and lives almost exclusively in the Apple ecosystem (iPhone/iPad/Apple watch/Apple TV/etc). Having said that, she still has a Windows laptop she has to use a couple of times a week for a

Buying mini PC directly from GMKtec, Beelink, or Minisforum vs Amazon — worth the savings?

I ordered my Beelink SER8 8745 last week directly from their website - took about a week to deliver and no issue so far for me. Quite happy!

Are there silent mini-PCs?

i can't hear the beelink ser8 on my desk unless i get within a foot or so of it, with normal house level silence around. i also have a nuc 8 for comparison that i can hear from about 3-4 feet away. while it may not be technically silent i doubt you'll ever hear the fan if you aren't in deafening sil

Worth buying Chinese mini pc brands vs Dell or Lenovo?

I've been rocking a beelink ser8 for about a year now so not long enough to tell reliability but I haven't had issues. I use it as a home file server, Plex server, and calibre library manager. I hooked up a jbod to add more drives and it's been great.

The best mini pc for gaming

The Asus ROG NUC 970 is great for gaming, but slightly outside that price range unless you can find it on sale. The Beelink SER8 and SER9 are pretty good as well. You can find some good options in this thread

Looking for a small mini PC / Mac Mini setup for long-term everyday use

If you already live in the Apple ecosystem with a iPhone/iPad the Mac Mini M4 is the smart choice. My granddaughter spent more on the 24GB version for better long-term reliability. Excluding the cheaper 8745 the SER8 8845HS is the most quiet better quality build for a Windows PC. The Geekom A7 is be
