Question about the new Studio Display, 2026
I sold my ASUS ProArt PA279CRV (4K) and decided to upgrade to the ASUS ProArt PA279JCV (the same monitor, but 5K). However, when I started reading reviews, I came across many complaints about the “crystalline effect,” which made me start doubting my choice. I also watched a lot of videos about 5K mo

BenQ launches $999 glossy 5K 27-inch Thunderbolt 4 monitor to rival Apple Studio Display
BenQ's previous 5K model PD2730S has unanimous 5-star ratings on B&H, so this MA270S could be a winner too. The 5K LG 27GM950 was announced months ago but is still not available.

MA270U - Rec. 709 Color Mode on Display Pilot | URGENT :')
If you’re aiming to use the monitor for content creation or design, the PD series is definitely the better choice. For the best compatibility, our new 5K model, the PD2730S, is the flagship option. It not only offers excellent color accuracy but also perfectly matches Retina resolution. By the way y

New Mac OS26
Thanks these are very useful insights. I have been commenting so much that I guess I was lazy on this one: I only mentioned the Asus ProArt and not the BenQ PD2730S, for some examples of competitor monitors. It’s important for me to mention that each is a 5K 27” monitor with the same retina PPI as t

Buying a new Mac - Trying to educate myself on monitors. Help? (More inside)
The Pro Art has received good reviews, but I don’t have any direct experience. I’m currently evaluating a dual BenQ PD2730S 27” 5k monitors to replace my 32” BenQ. I like the BenQ monitors’ build quality compared to the Asus and ViewSonic based on the YT videos I’ve seen. I also compared, albeit not

Apple made External Monitors worse, then sold us retina displays
The BenQ is $600 cheaper, yes. But doesn't have a built-in webcam, Thunderbolt 5, Good Speakers/Mic and a premium finish. When you calculate what you're getting for the price, both ways, it becomes great value. Having said that, MA270S is a great monitor with a great price. I would pick that over th
