Best Monitor for Mac Mini

IMO this is the Best Value monitor for Mac Dell S2725QC (27" 4K 120Hz with USB-C) 5K is the best resolution for Mac but it comes at a high cost: Apple Studio Display BenQ PD2730S 27" 5K ASUS ProArt Display 27” 5K

Actually loving the new standard Studio Display?

Benq has two 27 inch 5k monitors, matte (professional PD2730s series) and glossy (M something, do not remember exact name), both quite pricey tho. Both (supposedly) have great uniformity. Did you consider them?

How much did your external display actually change things? Asking before I make a mistake I can't return

Tbh I haven't seen the BenQ MA270S!The Nano Matte Panel seems better, so yeah I would prefer the BenQ. That said, BenQ is like 25-30% more expensive (in my country), that is, probably, the reason it gets more attention. About the research: My wife need the best color accuracy + grey scale. Displays

What is the best monitor for Mac mini M4 as of 2026?

This is the correct answer if you want the best Mac experience. Asus makes a 5k monitor Asus proart has a 5k monitor for about $700 though there are some complaints about Mac compatibility and this is a display port over 10Gb usb-c gig so it's not going to be a good hub, just a decent display. So there are no GLOSSY 5K@120 Hz option if I don't wanna spend 3K on the ASD XDR ?

I’m a bit of a giant so big arms + old eyes = desk depth :) I say go for it then. Only other interesting monitor to check is the new BenQ MA270S. Only TB4 and 70hz but is glossy 5k and a third of the price!

BenQ MA270S 27” 5k monitor - Anyone spent any real time with it yet?

In the UK, the BenQ MA270S is currently £900. A certified refurbished Apple Studio Display (VESA) from Apple which comes like new condition with full warranty, at £1,149 comes with built in speakers, a slightly brighter display, and a built-in camera. Price gap between these two options is not that

New Mac OS26

Thanks these are very useful insights. I have been commenting so much that I guess I was lazy on this one: I only mentioned the Asus ProArt and not the BenQ PD2730S, for some examples of competitor monitors. It’s important for me to mention that each is a 5K 27” monitor with the same retina PPI as t

Asus ProArt 5k PA27JCV hit by US Tariffs

I’m also torn between these 2 but although the BenQ is fine, the allure of 5K perfect scaling bears a heavy weight! The Asus is also backordered everywhere here in Europe, but the PD2730S (BenQ, also 5K) is available at the moment, although much more expensive than the Asus

Apple made External Monitors worse, then sold us retina displays

The BenQ is $600 cheaper, yes. But doesn't have a built-in webcam, Thunderbolt 5, Good Speakers/Mic and a premium finish. When you calculate what you're getting for the price, both ways, it becomes great value. Having said that, MA270S is a great monitor with a great price. I would pick that over th
