400hz TN monitor (zowie 2566x+) and having SEVERE shimmering problems with all graphic settings ingame on very low
I have an xl2546k (240hz TN) and have no issues. 1728x1080 resolution, everything in game very low. Monitor settings are brightness 20, blackEQ 15, colour vibrance 20, sharpen 8, contrast 60, gamma 2, default colour temperature. Everything is clear and smooth.

Is upgrading from XL2546K (240Hz) to XL2566X or XL2586X worth it if I already get 700+ FPS?
Xl2546k is still a beast, there is something I like about its colors in fps1 mode, not accurate but I like the red and bright green, I feel like I can feel slightly input lag with with xl2546k with dyac+ but I don't think I can tell input lag with dyac2 on xl2586x, the 540-600hz tn from zowie is the

ZOWIE DYAC 2 XL2546X Review on RTINGS The Great $600 washed out TN SCAM that gets beaten by majority of IPS Gaming Monitors, especially the $250 Viewsonic XG2431 blur buster 2.0 monitor.
I have the XL2546K, I sold my oled and my 1440p ips for it that i had and i can say i made the right choice. The motion clarity is just much better than anything i ever seen, after tweaking the colours look no different than my IPS and i dont notice the viewing angles either. My aim on all the games

Unplayable. Game is blurry mess AMD 6800xt 7800x3d
As for the xl2546k or non k, try to reset to default the monitor settings. Set sharpness to 10 also.

Monitor recommendations, 90% for cs, 10% for casual gaming
I'd recommend doing the CPU upgrade first and seeing how high you can get your FPS. If you aren't consistently getting over 240fps without random frame drops down to the 180-200 range you'd basically be wasting your money on a 240hz screen (there are other advantages to 240hz even if you can't get y
