Non-detachable mic is the deal breaker. Really can't understand that decision. Testing the MMX 150 Wireless right now (cause of that). Will probably get the Fractal Scape as well and decide between these two. In rare case of Audeze Maxwell 2 drop in February and no insane price tag I'll maybe check

There are a couple of things holding the MMX 230 back from being a top performer in its price range, but honestly I think a lot of it comes down to expectations. From a comfort and sound standpoint, this is a really solid headset. It’s light, easy to adjust and comfortable enough for long sessions.
