TYGR 300 R

I got the Beyerdynamic TYGR 300 R and I really like them, especially for their imaging and soundstage. They’re great for footsteps and directional audio and I use them for cs2. Other headphones I’d recommend but haven’t tried, only heard a lot about are the sennheiser hd 560s, audeze maxwell 1 or 2,

Beyerdynamic TYGR 300R and DT 770 pro. Both are pretty fine. The DT 770 Pro is a closed Headphone and has a Bit more Bass. The TYGR 300 R is open. I like them both.

I've compared the following recently: Sennheiser HD 560S. Sennheiser HD 599. Sennheiser HD 620S. Beyerdynamic TYGR 300 R. Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO. Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO X. Beyerdynamic DT 700 PRO X. For CS2 at home and at noisy tournaments the DT 700 PRO X was by far the clear winner for me.

Yes I agree on that! However, I have done this sort of repair some years ago (on some Beyerdynamic TYGR 300 R) and it still works fine. You just have to make sure to really have strain relief, otherwise the cable might break as you described!
