Doom on an eReader...

The Boox Go6 is far less powerful than the much newer Bigme B6 here but when I only need to read books, there's really no need for all these extra horses. It can be a huge distraction to have such extra functionality vs a potato that limits you (to focus on what's more important to me ie reading mor

E-ink meets e-bike

All that looks nice i don't think I'd use my expensive palma 2 for this. Maybe a cheap bigme b6

Looking for 6’ ereader

If you’re mostly sideloading, I don’t think kindle is the best option. The Kobo Clara BW is a good option, and it does have the option to sort by series if you read a lot of them. I’ve also been interested in the Pocketbook Verse Pro. I have a Bigme B6 that I’m giving to a friend, I’ve learned that

Best budget (least expensive) color E-reader that uses an E-ink display?

Honestly, you just think you want to read comics on e-ink. Realistically, it's not really there yet. and a 6" or 7" reader is just too small, you would want an 8' color tablet at a minimum, in my opinion. Some will say a 7" reader is good enough, but it seems tiny to me. A tablet is still the best f

help me find a e reader to buy

There is none new that meets your requirements. The closest new is the bigme b6 around $190 but its too small. I just got the meebook m8 for $259 its a great sized ereader for manga. It's the only one close to the $200 mark most other 8 inch or larger ereaders run around $450+. There are very few 8

What is so bad about Boox ereaders?

My experiences with Boox: Poke 4s: it's a 2nd hand. I had it returned (to the shop that sold it as a trade in for the next Boox) because the battery is simply too bad. Last maybe 2 days max. Because of the only very short time with it, nothing about its real merit can be said. Brand new Boox Tab Ult

My palma pro is so cute 🩷

I did. Before the Palma Pro, my favorite color e-ink device was the Kindle ColorSoft. Other than the ColorSoft, I also tried the Go7 Gen 2, the Bigme B6, and honestly, none of them were as good as the Kindle ColorSoft in my opinion. But the Palma Pro somehow feels similar to the ColorSoft — it’s ver

Nobody is talking about Musnap Neo (Black and White strictly)

It weighs about 140gm, maybe a tad bit lighter than bigme b6. I am also digging the minimalistic UI, unlike Boox or Bigme. It's pretty clean and I didn't feel any learning curve.

New to e-readers and overwhelmed

For $200 the biggest device you can get will be about 7" diagonal. Although the Nook Glowlight 4 Plus is 7.8" and costs $200, it doesn't meet your other needs. So, let's talk Android, because that's your only option for E Ink devices that can do Google. The cheapest Android tablet with a color scree

Looking for an affordable color e-reader under $150 - does it exist?

Probably the cheapest android color ereader is the bigme b6. However it's to small for pdf files. For pdf files you really need a 7.8 inch screen or larger. Even then the text is small. For regular epub books they are fine. For your budget you are better off buying a led tablet. If you are not readi
