Got a B751C S to replace my Kobo : pretty disapointed

I am well aware of the Kaleido 3 technology limits, it's just much worse on the Bigme than the Kobo. And software is abysmal on the Bigme.

Got a B751C S to replace my Kobo : pretty disapointed

I really like the Kobo but I'm an avid note taker. The Kobo note taking function is amazing, very efficient and convenient. Very straightforward. But i miss some small things like being able to insert a picture in a note. And I miss TTS reading too ... But ultimately having this kind of function is

Frankly, the Kobo Libra Colour can be a good option if you wanna break free from Kindle. But not Bigme. Maybe a Boox but their displays are not as good.

This is the perfect summary of my Bigme experience. A specs sheet can be very good but in real use the device can be unuseable.

Frankly I don't see how software could be worse than Bigme's. Nothing works except their ink injection system which let's you use apps which are not e-ink writing optimised.

Is bigme b6 bad as everyone says it is

I own a Bigme B751CS, it's 7 inches but it's also a Kaleido screen and all the Bigme software. The Kaleido screen is very dim and requires frontlight in most indoor lighting settings. If you want to read manga, since it's mostly b&w, I'd recommend a b&w display of 7 inch or more, but definitely not

Because I wanted a device with more functions. Like TTS, like drawing on a picture, like including pictures in notes ...but ultimately the poor screen quality of the Bigme and even worse the Boox Go Color 7 gen 2 made me prefer the Kobo.

the colour is worse but i went with a bigme b7 over the kobo libra because kobos no longer have upgradeable storage. if you want to return it for something else check out this video there is a section comparing screens of a bunch of the coloured e readers. pocketbook inkpad 3 seems the best imo but

This further confirm me that bigme software are just terrible. My Meebook software is already a downgrade from Boox's but it's still usable, from these comments bigme are somehow even worse

Does anyone have experience playing on OGS with a Bigme B6 or other e-reader?

Well, you should check a review of the B751CS. It´s a bit slow compared to my Boox Note Max. Just don´t buy this for handwriting with the stylus, it works but it is far from great. It´s enough for me, so I don´t see any reason to sell it any time soon or get different eink tablet. I think that Boox
