No peephole in apartment door. Is there a doorbell camera that is good for renters (minimal damage and no real access to a power source) and is not easy to steal??
Blink makes a decent and affordable video doorbell that runs on batteries and works surprisingly well. They range from $30-$60 here in the U.S.

Home security cameras without monthly payment
We have used Blink for years; doorbell and multiple outdoor cameras. With the sync module and a USB flash drive we have never had to pay a monthly subscription. The video quality is pretty good, but we do have occasional issues with the app. Camera battery health is average. I would wait until Cyber

New cameras
Your existing doorbell wiring doesn't power the Blink doorbell camera in any way whatsoever. I've had batteries that lasted well over 2 years with the 1st gen doorbell and it's been so far, so good with the 2nd gen. And that's with using both with a sync module. My advice is to not try to use the do

acho que a proprietária da casa que alugo está entrando na minha casa quando saio para o trabalho
Blink cameras work just fine & will alert you as long as you have it ‘armed’ in the app. Place one in your main rooms & look at a ‘live’ view at different times during the day. If you want the person to see it so they know they are being recorded, just leave it on a table or counter. Blink makes a g

Looking for a simple, no subscription video doorbell
Another happy Tapo D210 user, here. We liked ours so much we actually got a second one to put on the back of the house to keep an eye on the garage. One of the big selling points for me is that it’s rechargeable rather than relying on batteries like the Blink doorbell it replaced.

What home security service would you recommend?
I had three break ins during a remodel (unoccupied at the time) so I went to town exploring security systems at the time. Blink purchased at Costco was great value and cameras are amazing: on 2 AA batteries last over a year (lithium batteries so not cheap). Roughly $30/camera when on sale. However,

wireless dooorbell battery drain
I bought the G4 doorbell (requires six batteries) and found this set of 12 rechargeable batteries at an online behemoth. They lasted 5 weeks, I swapped the other 6, process seems doable. Description says: Rechargeable AA Lithium Batteries with Charger-12Pack Double A Batteries for Blink Camera, 1.5V

Comcast internet-only: what is your charge?
I haven't noticed any change in my internet uses that would cause me to change or upgrade my plan. I actually use more internet now than I ever did because now I have replaced the "box" which provided cable TV with streaming on my TV thru free apps like Xumo, Tubi, etc. Also now I work remotely and

Security system for retirees?
Some people poo poo at this idea, but in terms of something that works on a basic level, the blink system on Amazon will work. The thing about this is it's not top of the line, but the battery-powered cameras are easy to install outdoors and have a fairly long battery life since they use AA lithium

Doorbell cam battery life
This is incorrect. I did a fairly thorough write up on it here. My doorbell cam has been running on the same batteries since that post and they still say full charge.
