Hi Picodick --you should probably be using a quality air purifier in your bedroom, if you aren't already. I use a "Blue Pure 211 Max" by BlueAir that I run every night. My cpap filter gets dirty quickly in southern Arizona because of the frequent wind and desert dust. I also use a hypoallergenic fil

Ditto. I have two of these in my classroom. They’re fairly quiet - even in a kn-95 I can project. I have taller ceilings and some in-building filtration but nothing perfect: https://www.blueair.com/products/blue-pure-211i-max Like other commenters said, I’d cross post to other subs.

I can also vouch to BlueAir customer support. I bought a second-hand air purifier and found out it was malfunctioning (weird noise coming from the motor). I sent over an email to suppport after having asked the seller for the receipt and they were able to send a new unit to me even out of warranty.

I have the BlueAir Blue Pure 511i Max and they’re great units, but the integration is wonky and available only through HACS. The homebridge plugins haven’t been maintained for several years. The integration I use now It claims it polls the cloud every 5 minutes but the purifiers sure as hell don’t.

Your beef is with Unilever. They bought Blueair and shifted manufacturing to China and changed much of the materials from metal to plastic materials to be more competitive on price (like the Blue Pure series). https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/unilever-acquires-blueair-will-help-millions-more

I’ve been using a Blueair 311i Max for about a year now. My indoor AQI used to be around 45 to 60 on normal days and sometimes higher when cooking. On auto mode it usually drops below 10 in 15 to 20 minutes. It’s honestly a relief to see the sensor light turn from orange to blue. When I was first lo

Hmm not seeing what you're seeing...I'm seeing $240, but ya your right, they are available so not discontinued at least. https://www.blueair.com/products/blue-pure-311i-plus-max?srsltid=AfmBOorh6W7WeKGc75U6aAXmYbFpzgRfiafao2ZBWp27ITb0yZrUabyH I'm glad too because you scared me for a sec. That's not the point. The original context is my comment: Some people want to avoid this because of possible health effects associated with ionizers or changes in gaseous air chemistry. ...and then you said (in the form of a question) "California’s strict regulations" basically ensure that the "heal
