WARNING: Do NOT Buy Onyx BOOX. $500 Note Air5 C turned into a DEAD BRICK in less than a month, and support has completely GHOSTED me.

Over the years, I have owned and used: Note 5 Note Air 3C Tab X Go 10.3 Note Max Note Air 5C Go 7 Palma Pro 2 Go 10.3 II Lumi All worked flawlessly with zero issues. That being said, I buy them on Amazon, not from Boox directly, so I can easily return them if I need to.

Curious just curious

I don't know how to explain it other than it feels like reading a real book. There is something about the screen not emitting light. It just feels natural to me and I will always prefer to read books on e-ink screens. The quality of e-ink and specifically on monochrome screens went so much better in

Android ereader that's not a bigme and that doesn't cost 300€

Boox Go 7 is much better specced than the 6 and has a newer Android but is very very unlikely to go for less than 200 €. That said, if you have anything like a local price comparison website listing online stores that are either local or regional & ship to your country, might be worth a look? I just

E-ink screen

The thing about eInk screens is that the limitations of the technology really requires that you use software with UX that is built around those limitations. While ePaper displays with color do exist, the ones that can realistically be used on a tablet or laptop just have an LCD color filter layer. t

Is the Viwoods AIPaper a good fit for me?

I presently own a reMarkable 2, Boox Note2, & an AiPaper. The reMarkable 2 has long been a staple in the E-Ink market, but it is currently hampered by aging hardware and a restrictive subscription model that gates basic cloud syncing features. With only 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, it str

Convince me why your e-reader is the best!

boox, because you want hoopla. and it's less sketch of a company than bigme. the go 7, because its more snappy than the go 6, Used, to fit your $$ requirement. BW to make the battery last longer (just charge it lol).

kobo clara bw or boox go 6 for ao3 fanfics?

I'd lean towards Boox too. I bought a Go 7 to read Ao3 (among other things) and it's great for browsing the website for tonight's selection. If your jumpy with fics or browsing is part of the experience for you then android all the way. I will say though if you have the extra money to spend on a Go

Ereader like a kindle paper white but w/android integration.

Do you want the same size as the Paperwhite? Or just an e-ink device that can run Android/Play store? If you don’t mind a smaller 6” reader, I think the Boox Go 6 is a nice reader. Some will say it’s too slow, but it’s really not. It may take an app a second or two longer to start, but once you are

What to buy if I wanted powerful but compact?

Probably something from Boox if you want more processing power for snappier highlighting, like the Go 6 or the palma 2 InkBook Solaris - 2GB Ram, 4 core processor Verse Lite - 512mb RAM, 2 core processor Boox Go 6 has 4gb of RAM and with an 8 core processor Boox Palma2 will be the snappiest with a 8
