XTEINK S4 Price and Preorder Details

it's not just battery life, I have an Onyx Boox Go 7 running android and it's so sluggish, sure you can use kindle and kobo apps but it's absolutely not enjoyable, both apps are slow as fuck, glitchy, not optimized. Android is not developed for devices with 500mb ram or even 2GB ram

WARNING: Do NOT Buy Onyx BOOX. $500 Note Air5 C turned into a DEAD BRICK in less than a month, and support has completely GHOSTED me.

Sadly that's what we have to accept buying this tier of Chinese devices. Support is super slow and inefficient to the point it's not existent. The boox go 7 latest firmware broke my main use for the device. I reported to them exactly what's wrong which should be an easy enough fix and besides acknow

Boox Go 7 with new inksense pen May 4, 2025

Woah, so tappy, clicky and wobbly, I am never ever going to buy this. Thx alot for the video though! If THIS is the way to go, hopefully my EMR based Boox devices will last forever... such a bad decision of e-ink / Onyx.

Is there a waterproof ereader with buttons and access to kindle/kindle app?

Boox Go 7, no waterproofing. Kobo Libra 2 or Libra Colour, but you'll need to transfer your Kindle eBooks to the device. Once you do that, though, you can continue to read them. Both of them are waterproof. Boox also (allegedly) violates the GPL which, if you care about that kind of thing, really su

2026 ereaders?

If pfd and note taking are not a priority, then look at the bigme b7 or b7 pro. Thex have 2x the memory at 8x 128, the pro has a really fast chip bench mark is supposed to be like 7x as fast. Hopping boox comes out with a new boox go 7, but from how they updated the 10.3 I'm not sure it will be much

PocketBook Era Lite | Carta 1300

Yes, you are somewhat right about discussing the battery topic: some month ago a user complained that his new Kindle (which seem to generally have very good battery life) doesn't last as expected. The issue that came out was that the user read +6 hours a day 😂 and the user additionally apllied the 3

Which to choose between Kindle, Kobo and Onyx Boox Go

Kobo Libra 2. It doesn't support stylus, only the Libra Color does, but I like it. The Boox Go 7 Color Gen 2 is also a good option, but keep in mind the stylus will only work in apps that support it, but of course, being Android you have the ability to install apps in the first place. If you're just

PocketBook vs Kobo vs Kindle (real opinions only)

I’ve had the chance to use several e-readers over the past months: PocketBook Verse Pro, PocketBook Era BW, Kobo Clara BW, BOOX Go 6, and BOOX Go 7. Out of all of them, the Kobo Clara BW ended up being my favorite. What made the difference for me was the screen quality, the simplicity of the interfa

Trying to get out of the kindle ecosystem

One thing to remember is that modern Kobos are IPX8 waterproof, basically meaning they should survive a drop in the bath or something similar.i was considering a boox go 7 but it is only water repellent and not waterproof, so I decided against it because it didn't fit my needs. But everyone is diffe
